Installing Demosphere
Don't install Drupal from the drupal.org source code, use the Demosphere code instead (it includes Drupal).

Requirements:
Demosphere checks these requirements during install.
- php5
- php extensions: imap,tidy,xsl,curl, gd
- apache config: enable rewrite urls.
- xpdf-utils (or poppler-utils), image-magick
- Unix/Linux (windows servers are not supported).
Installing:
The main steps to install the Demosphere are:
- download the code from Downloads
- install this code as if it were the standard Drupal source through the following steps :
- untar the files
- visit the site with your web browser
- fill in all the requested information (like database connexion name and password) - configure Demosphere online (top menu->panel->admin: configure Demosphere)
